This autumn/winter fitted tailoring is out and oversizing is in. Cocoon coats. billowing sleeves and off the body trousers can be seen from runways to highstreet. Shoulders are relaxed and lengths are long creating striking volume. For maximum impact pair oversized garments with fitted ones. Jewellery and accesories should be kept to a minimum to emphasise the oversized garment. A belt may be worn over an oversized garment to clinch the waist but still retain then efect.

This year the military trend is back with force especially in menswear. On the runways militant tailoring dominates the trend and in the highstreet this is combined with camouflage prints. Olive and khaki tones are the most popular colours this autumn. Accessories such as shoes, boots, satchels, also possess qualities of the military trend.
